The Vashon-Maury Island Garden Club is a community of enthusiastic folks that share a love of all things gardening. We gather monthly for Club meetings to enjoy camaraderie, knowledgeable club expert talks, and special guest speakers and presentations. Creative workshops, off-island tours and adventures, and summer Open Garden events enhance our active Garden Club.

Garden Club Planting Party Workshop

Join us April 18th from 1-3pm at Little Bird Gardens.

We will be creating something beautiful for your garden. Choose a wicker hanging cone basket or handcrafted cedar planter and fill it with 4 colorful plants of your choosing. The cone baskets themselves last many seasons, the cedar planters will last years, and both can be refilled. We will talk about how to design a planter that offers color, texture, and beauty throughout the summer season. I will have examples for you to be inspired by. Come have a good time planting with your garden friends!
There is a $65 fee for this event.
To register, contact Sharon at (206) 771-0972.
