Yellow Day Lily
SKU: Carhart_15
The yellow daylily is a part of the genus Hemerocallis, which is the Greek word for "beautiful day." They bloom from early Summer to late Fall and are both deer and drought tolerant. This perennial plant is known for its light yellow, circular flowers and long, green leaves. Each flower only lasts for one day, blooming up to 16 hours at a time. Once the flowers wither, they are usually replaced by a new one the next day. Its thick roots make it a hearty plant, allowing it to grow in everything from regular garden soil to one's rich with organic matter.
